Dear Reader,
We who are born again all hear from God. Whether or not we want to listen and obey is up to us. I considered not posting this, because I wasn't sure how it would be received. But I was reminded (by Him of course) that I am to fear no man, and that I must trust in Him alone. He will reach who He wants to through me or you, and I am just the conduit He uses in this forum. There will be many more that I will post. As many of you know, the book I am currently writing is about trusting God. Let this be another way that I conquer fear and instead, trust in Him. He is my Savior and Redeemer. May God bless you today and fill you with knowledge and understanding, and may you rest in that peace He has so graciously placed in your soul. Here is a message for you as it was written through, but not 'by' me.
Deirdre
"I will always protect and guide my children as long as they seek me. It grieves me whenever I see them in pain. If they would only believe that I am able to fix all their hurts, and that I want to guide them so they don't fall into traps, then their lives would be so much fuller and happier.
"But the flesh! It is a constant battle for us all! I fought for you all to My death. I won victory over your oppression, I took back the keys of death, and I felt all your pains and sorrows. I gave My life for yours! Why do my children not see this? They could save themselves so much time and energy! This is the hard part--living in the flesh and trying to walk in the Kingdom. It is a cosmic pull on both worlds. There is a constant battle raging in the flesh between the natural desires and the heart's spiritual desires. This battle is exemplified in the Spiritual realm. My angels fight with swords of Spirit as you should too.
"Don't be fooled thinking you can ignore it and it will get better. That is a lie manufactured by Satan himself. It will not get better nor go away without each one of you fighting. There is no room for indecision now! The time has come when my Church, my children, the chosen, must take up the full armor I have given them and get dressed and ready to win victory after victory! Raise those swords and run at the enemy like David did! Don't put yourself in a position where the enemy has brought you down so far that you must look up from the place you are to see his face standing over you with his sword ready to pierce your heart!
"Do not ever let him get you to a place where he is above you. Ever! Never forget that My blood is enough! My suffering is enough! My grace is enough! Draw strength from ME! I will (I have) led the battle charge! Look up and see ME! Look forward and see ME! I'm in front, Jehovah Nissi, the Banner of victory. We are victorious! We can not fail! Believe that with all your heart! Do not forsake Me! Trust Me, pray to Me for strength, for courage, for wisdom! Pray for everlasting peace and redemption.
"Pray that we save our brothers and sisters from the raging fires of Hell that are creeping across the land! Grab hold of them! Be there for them! Carry them on your back. Point to Me, show them your victorious Leader! Show them My love and My light! Let them see the truth, the faith, and the trust in your eyes. They will not be afraid if you come bearing the good news of safety and salvation. They know something is happening, but they don't know me, so they don't understand what it is they are feeling! The world is shaking, it is trembling! The time is coming. The vibrations of such a cataclysmic force is starting to wake everyone up. They can't pinpoint what it is, but they know something is different.
"They are feeling the end. This is their last chance to make up their minds. Some need convincing. You all must help them see--death or life? Choose life! Don't die my children because you wouldn't live! My love for my children is great. I need you all to help Me to help others. The world, which is ruled by Hell, is hiding the truth about Me and what can happen to someone who invites me to come into their hearts, to be their Lord and Savior.
"The world doesn't believe in God. They have fallen for the lies. Chance after chance my people get. My mercies are new each morning. Yet they don't seek Me. They think I am something someone made up one day. You must help them to see the truth. Their souls are at stake.
"Fear not, I am with you! Be of good cheer! I am making you an ambassador! I love you with all my heart!"
"So it was, when the Philistine arose and came and drew near to meet David, that David hurried and ran toward the army to meet the Philistine." 1 Samuel 17:48
"I call heaven and earth as witnesses today against you, that I have set before you life and death, blessing and cursing; therefore choose life, that both you and your descendants may live" Deuteronomy 30:19
"These things I have spoken to you, that in Me you may have peace. In the world you will have tribulation; but be of good cheer, I have overcome the world.” John 16:33

Chosen!
We are not walking in the Kingdom by chance. There is no "random" choices by God. We were chosen! How lovely is that!? Someone, God Himself, decided He wanted you and me! Was that all there was, just picking and choosing? No! He also purchased us with the blood of His Son! Jesus willingly died a horrendous death so that we could sit in heavenly places with Him. The price He paid was far greater than you or I could ever endure. He gave us eternity through His precious blood. He gave us life everlasting!
We, His born again saved children, undeserving as we are, were hand-picked by God Himself! Can you grasp that, dear Reader? While He was creating the heavens and the earth He looked through time and saw your face! While Jesus was bloody and beaten unrecognizable, He looked through time and saw you! He did this for you! Why? Because He loves you! You are His. You never have to fear being left alone. He can't do that. He won't do that. He promised to never leave nor forsake you.
He had to fight for you. We did everything we could to shut the door on Him. Every time He knocked we had another excuse. Maybe you were of the age where it just wasn't 'cool.' You may have thought if you started going to church all your fun would be over for the rest of your life - no more drinking, no more partying, and oh no, that probably meant going to church on Sunday morning and you really needed your sleep from partying Saturday night!
I know that's how I felt! There would be too many restrictions on me! Oh, how I wish that I knew then what I know now! God is watching whether we're saved or not. He knows our hearts. When He places the desire in our hearts we can fight it, we can ignore it, or we can "come to Jesus!"
Where would I be if I had but answered the door in my youth? I know I wouldn't look as old as I do because I would have known the peace of God. I wouldn't have done so many stupid things. I wouldn't have hung out with the wrong crowd, I wouldn't have drank myself to sleep because of a broken heart, I wouldn't have talked like a sailor! I wouldn't have believed that my life was useless.
What did I trade it for? Something I didn't know. I didn't know joy! Pure unadulterated joy! My heart sings! I laugh! I feel so amazed just thinking about the power of God! I see things differently, I enjoy church more than I imagined. These brothers and sisters in Christ would do anything for me because we are family. I CRAVE Jesus! I yearn for Him!
Do I feel like I'm missing out on fun? Oh good grief, no. I have more fun now than I ever did before. My friends are true friends. They rally around me in prayer for my needs. They care for me. They are not like the fair weather friends I used to have who left because the last can of beer was empty. No, these friends stay around to help me pick up the pieces of my life! They know Jesus - He is our Savior.
I found out that I have gifts and talents, natural and supernatural. I am God's child. I was created in His image. Do you know what that means? It means that I look just like my Father! Just like my brother, Jesus. We are sons and daughters of the Most High God! We are kings and priests. We are chosen!
Aren't you glad you were?
If you are reading this and are not sure if you have Jesus in your heart, you can ask Him in right now! Just click here and with all your heart confess the Prayer of Salvation. Don't be afraid, we are truly rich over here, and love meeting new family! Don't wait any longer. God loves you, and so do we! And when you give your life to Christ, all the angels in heaven will rejoice!
"But you are the ones chosen by God, chosen for the high calling of priestly work, chosen to be a holy people, God's instruments to do his work and speak out for him, to tell others of the night-and-day difference he made for you—from nothing to something, from rejected to accepted." 1 Peter 2:9-10 Msg
"Or imagine a woman who has ten coins and loses one. Won't she light a lamp and scour the house, looking in every nook and cranny until she finds it? And when she finds it you can be sure she'll call her friends and neighbors: 'Celebrate with me! I found my lost coin!' Count on it—that's the kind of party God's angels throw every time one lost soul turns to God." Luke 15:8-10 Msg

A Letter to the Lord
Dear Jesus,
I love You. I love our Father. My life is in Your hands, and although that is the safest and most wonderful place to be, sometimes, for reasons that don't make any sense at all, I choose to walk away from that protection and security to a place that is on the doorway to hate, unforgiveness, pride, and judgement.
I can even hear You calling after me, "Come back child, My grace is sufficient," and yet I ignore You - my Friend, my Redeemer, my Comforter. It's like I've put on the iPod of the world, plugged it into my ears, and turned up the noise. I have completely drown out the symphonic choir and the glorious melody of the heavenly host.
My life quickly spirals into a dark place where my anger surprises even me. My rebellion makes me stop and wonder who I have become and how did I become so arrogant?
I find that I have become lost. It was just a short time ago that I was laughing and praying and thanking You for all the pleasures of this life, great and small. How does this happen so quickly? Why don't I see it coming?
Why do I let myself fall out of Your grace? I know that You haven't said, "See you later," but I did. I know that Your heart aches for me, because I am Your love, as You are mine.
You wait patiently for me as I recover my wits and hold my hands to my ears and scream, "Stop it! Just stop it! I can't hear myself think with all the noise!"
I cry because my life is miserable, I am no longer happy, and I feel alone. I have said things I regret, and acted like a fool. I am so remorseful. I don't believe I am worthy to ask for Your forgiveness, because I knew better, and this time I really messed up! I feel like all is lost, and that even You, the great Forgiver and Healer has closed Your holy eyes to my plight.
Of course this is one of the biggest lies the enemy has placed in the front of my mind, the lie that says that I am unworthy, and unacceptable to You, because You are God and I have finally met the end of Your tolerance for walking out on my own!
Lord, forgive me once more. Your word says that Your mercies are new every morning. You say you will protect me from evil.
I believe You, I believe in You! I trust that Your Word is Life. I trust You, O Lord!
Forgive me once more and receive me into Your loving embrace. I have returned downtrodden and humbled. Filled with humility from the error of my ways!
Thank You, Father for always forgiving me and reminding me that Your mercy endures forever!
I thank You, Jesus for Your inspiration today. Thank You for speaking to my very heart! I love You. Thank You for rescuing me. Help me to help others.
Your child.

"Listen God, I'm calling at the top of my lungs: "Be good to me! Answer me!" When my heart whispered "Seek God," my whole being replied, "I'm seeking Him!" Don't hide from me now! You've always been right there for me; don't turn Your back on me now. Don't throw me out, don't abandon me; You've always kept the door open. My father and mother walked out and left me, but God took me in. Point me down Your highway, God; direct me along a well-lighted street; show my enemies whose side You're on. Don't throw me to the dogs, those liars who are out to get me, filling the air with their threats. I'm sure now I'll see God's goodness in the exuberant earth. Stay with God! Take heart. Don't quit. I'll say it again: "Stay with God." Psalm 27:7-14 MSG

He Has Always Been With Us!
I trust You. I believe in You. You are God. You created the earth. You lay with me from when I was just a single cell, a single fertilized cell! And as I grew to 16 cells, You watched and formed. And I started to look like my parents and like You, because I was created in Your image, and You shaped me, right there in my mother's womb!
You shared that small space with me! You were in my mother with me! You let me lay my head on Your shoulder! You were the first one to hold me and let me curl my tiny fingers around Yours!
You gave me dark brown eyes and curly hair. You gave me my mother's smile and my father's lips. You gave me long legs and told me to be tall! You touched my hands and blessed them so that one day I would do as You said in Isaiah 50:4, that "The Lord God gives me the right words to encourage the weary. Each day He awakens me eager to learn His teaching." (CEV)
You smiled at me. You told me You loved me. You nurtured me, and put something so holy into my heart that I knew, even when I wanted to die because I felt so unloved, that there was hope. You always stopped me from making a big mistake.
Is deja vu real? Did You show me my life before I was born? Did You show me heaven? Is it all my imagination when I start thinking about how You placed me at a certain spot at a certain time and changed my life? I don't think so.
When You said You would never leave nor forsake me, You meant that from the moment I was conceived, didn't You? It wasn't words of encouragement only for when I was an adult and going through hardship! No! It was during those sweet moments of sheer bliss when I got a home run or won the race, or heard my baby's heartbeat within me. You were there when I passed my summer school classes and when I graduated, and when I could have died in a car accident. You shielded me from a much greater harm! You called Your angels to spread their wings around me and to turn my body just right so that I didn't break my neck. It was You walking beside me when I was going home after dark keeping me safe. It was You who made me courageous when I wanted to hide! It was You who mended my broken heart time after time, and it was YOU who gave me a heart to forgive! You, Jesus, only You!
You brought laughter into my life and showed me how good it feels! You brought people who are fun and funny to me to be friends with so that I could have joy in my heart and smile and laugh, because a merry heart is good medicine!
Thank You! Thank You! Thank You! I love You so much!

Oh How I Love the Lord!
Jesus, I love You! You are all I need to live. I thank You for who You are. I thank You for Your love for me. Thank You for teaching me and for hearing my prayers and for guiding me with Your Holy Spirit presence within me! Thank You for all You do to speak to the Father on my behalf!
Thank You for being perfect love, like He is, and an example of that for me. I don't know the words, only the feelings I have for You. The desire I have for You in my heart overwhelms me at times and I must weep because I can't touch You in the natural. I long for You so I can feast my eyes on Your beauty and light.
I know it is only a matter of time until I am sweetly nestled in Your arms feeling Your heartbeat! O what ecstasy! My heart will surely leap from my chest in utter joy and surrender!
I need You so much. Even when I am not consciously aware, while I enjoy life's little pleasures, my heart cries out for more, for the unseen, for You to smile in my direction! Just a glance. Just a small acknowledgement of my existence is all my heart can ask for, and yet You have not just glanced, You gaze at me! You don't put limits on Your grace. You smile, You laugh, and You cry through the joys and sadness I go through in my life. You are with me always! You are in me! You are my Friend, my Lover, my glorious Redeemer. You are my Deliverer, my Savior. You are the beat of my heart and the smile on my face. You are my heart's desire.
I will love you until time is no more, and then I will love You still! Through eternity I will bow before Your throne and give You honor. I praise You.
And when every knee bows down and every tongue speaks Your name, I hope mine is the loudest! I love You, I love You, I love You!
Thank You for being perfect love, like He is, and an example of that for me. I don't know the words, only the feelings I have for You.
